One of our main actors in our film was under the age of 18 so we felt it only appropriate that we asked her parents permission that they know what the recording is for coursework purposes. We did this in a letter to her parents and in this letter we included a contract which is proof that they allowed their child to be recorded and if they did not wash for their daughter to be in the film then they simply did not have to reply. Here is a version of the letter we sent them.

I am writing to ask for your permission to use your daughter as one of the main actors in our trailer for our media coursework. Below is a contract which is proof that you willingly accepted your daughter to be recorded for a school coursework purpose.
